A friend of mine just told me that they are taking more pay cuts at FDX.

Total of approx 25% cuts. If this doesn't work then they will furlough.

Just curious. Hoping for the best for everyone.

Just a reduction in monthy guarantee. Which in it self is a pay cut.

This is done prior to a furlough. Which I predict will happen at FDX.

We are really fat because of the 727 going away and the age 65 rule.

I predict 500 by July 1-

WOW! I always thought freight and fractionals would make it through this recession without furloughs... Man was I wrong! Good luck fellas.

when FedEx is furloughing you can bet your sweet fannie that times are tough for everybody. I wonder how well the CFO at United sleeps...

good luck guys

500 by July 1? Huge costs with the resulting excess bid. I wonder why 08-03 was canceled? Hmmmmm....

Reduced MPBG for a year or more is a quicker and dirtier way to cut costs.

wow someone doesn't understand the reasoning for why they can't furlough and that they are short on pilots as is. They have contract negotiations coming up and they are working hard at setting the bar lower.

Posts like yours just fan the fire of fear.
