I am hoping someone on this board has access to United and American bookings. I'm trying to jumpseat ORD-MEM Saturday evening after a funeral. Anyone able to check out these loads for me? I greatly appreciate it.

American 3955 (7:15-9:00 pm)
United 6703 (8:18-10:04 pm)

Send me a PM if you prefer.

Regards,
Scott

You can probably forget about jump-seating on AA. I could be wrong, but I don't think they allow off-line dispatchers as jump-seaters. They used to not allow their own dispatchers, except for the FAA required annual observation.

Thanks...

In my haste to make plans, I didn't even think about reciprocal agreements with UAL and AA. Walter told me he didn't think we could jump on UAL, so I'm just going to end up staying an extra night and coming back on NWA or a company flight. Thanks to those who responded.

Sierra Bravo.

I had an AA captain tell me go to pound sand when I was trying to get on one of the 20 S80s from ORD-DFW when I worked at EGF!

AA will not permit any offline dx to ride at all. At NWA, they have a rule that any TWU represented DX office is welcome to ride, but AA/AE isnt on that list, and they are TWU, cuz AA wont let them reciprocate.

nwa may have that rule, but they don't enforce it. i've jumpseated multiple times domestically and internationally on nwa with no problems. we're non-union.

For what it's worth, we're a non-union shop and just hammered out a jumpseat agreement with NWA.

I've jumped on AA (in the cabin). As long as you have a reciprocal and are CASS you should be able to ride in the back.

NOT TRUE AT ALL FELLERS....

AAL DOES ALLOW JUMPSEATERS IN THE CABIN AND THE COCKPIT. I flew in the cockpit from PHL-DFW a few months ago. The problem is the pilots just don't know. So how do you solve this? Here's what I do. Get it in writing. It took me a long time 3 years ago, but much like many airlines, American has a bulletin about OAL Dispatchers regarding jumpseating. I carry a print out with anytime I think I might need to J/S on them. The next time you go to the airport (ticket counter or gate) ask an agent to print the following entry for you. And alas, here it is for American....

N*APS06026

p.s. the little "star" after N is known as "display"... and the entry contains "zero's", not the letter O

If that's the case...anyone got contact info for AA/AE DX jumpseat coordinator? Would make getting home to DFW alot easier. :)
