Hello:

I hope that one of you at AA can pass this message along to the cabin crew of AA996 that flew from EZE to DFW on Friday 10/17/08. If you can, I would appreciate if you can send me a private message with the mailing address of the cabin crew manager. I will send him/her a private letter.

On Friday 10/17 my 87 year old dad flew from Buenos Aires (EZE) to Dallas on his way to Memphis, where I am based. He came as a surprise to my 11 years old daughter on her birthday party day.

He was brought to tears for the exceptional way you guys treated him. He told me that there where three FA’s that took care of him all the time. He was even asked if he wanted to move seats (he was in the middle of a three row) to be more comfortable somewhere in the back. He said he would rather stay there. The passengers next to him were also very kind to him, and helped him during the meal service.

Also the ground personnel, including the wheelchair ladies that took him from one terminal to the other in Dallas were very nice to him. He will be returning back home on Sun 11/02.

Thank you ladies very much for taking care of my dad, you are appreciated!!

What a great post! I must admit i didnt know what this would say on the inside!
This brings tears to my eyes!

Sounds like he got a hummer on the flight! Good job AMR FAs!

Nice post, what are you 12? Shame on you! Someone has something nice to say and you try to turn it in to a perv session. Grow up or get out.

I have another AA International FA contacting the FAs from AA 996 to come onto flightinfo and contact you.

Take the time to fill out a company comment card describing your appreciation. Even if the cabin crew never contacts you directly, just include the flight number, route, and date, and it'll get back to them eventually. It really means a lot!
