Hey I was searching the Faa website trying to find out how I can get a copy of my PRIA records. No luck anyone have an easier way of getting them? Thanks

Ya that will work. Thanks. Do I have to send them a check though? It's the FAA so probably huh?

FOIA, PRIA, and Privacy act. 2 different addresses at the FAA.

Covered elsewhere in the forum . . . always a good idea to know what paperwork the FAA has on you, even if you've never done anything wrong. Stuff can be placed in there without your knowledge.

UPDATE: I see the FAA has taken down the link for the FOIA form letter. The instructions for the Privacy Act request will work though (just change Privacy Act to "FOIA"). Remember, a FOIA will show more detail, and can be initiated by anyone w/o your knowledge or consent.

Just curious and seeking clarification. If someone requests information on you via the FOIA, there is no notification at all provided to you. That is correct?
