I'm being bumped to CLT next month and looking to do some GA flying while down there.

anyone got any info. looking for a 150/152 or 172.

how about kipj (lincolnton) - looks like they have a 152 for 65/hr and a 172 for 85/hr.

thanks

Concord has a flight school that is 20 minutes away with 172's and such. Identifier is KJQF. I will be there on Monday and can get some info for you. It might be faster to find the school on the internet, though.

Wilgrove, 8A6 has pipers and 172. Very reasonable rates comparatively.

Small runway. Fun place to fly out of though.

Goose Creek (28A) out to the east side has a 152 and an Archer. Monroe (EQY), Charlotte and Gastonia are all run by the Charlotte Flying Club. Rock Hill (UZA) is also another option, but it's 172s.

I would second wilgrove. I got a single add on there. Fun little place and was really inexpensive, not sure now. It is a flying club so there was some sort of membership fee. -kingaira90

Fly Carolina was the one I was thinking of, too.

I have been flying in and out of Concord on a regular basis. You might have taken me out to the center of the field to set up my GPS base stations. I'll be there tomorrow to get some fuel on the way to Philly.

......and a goooooooood daaaaaaay!!!!
