Does anybody have any numbers on industry average for CE-560? Southeast Region. PIC. Annually. Thanks.

NBAA 2007 numbers...don't have any area or type-specific numbers, sorry...

Captain Base Salary
Jet II (10-20k MTOW)

Average: 77,398
Min: 43,197
First Quartile: 65,000
Median: 75000

Copilot Base Salary
Jet II (10-20k MTOW)

Average: 45,986
Min: 24,000
First Quartile: 38,500
Median: 42,000

I made $550 a day in a 560 with $3.80 an hour per diem on a contract basis. Maybe you can use those numbers to get you in the ball park.

It does seem broad. And I wonder what the published high is since it has an average. I guess I can just use low and average, and come up with a high.

Thanks for the info.

NBAA breaks the CBS down many different ways, but make/model by region is not one of them. I believe Stanton does it that way...

Since the average was asked for that's what was provided, but the Maximum for Jet II in 2007 was $135,000 with Third Quartile (75%)being $87,500 and 90% being $97,737.

Southern average, with no regard to aircraft type or weight, is $90,950. The average with less than two years with the company, with no regard to location or aircraft type/weight, is $86,827.

I hope this further information is of use to you...if you get offered a position make sure your company joins NBAA so you can help contribute to these figures!

FlyAuburn, are you looking for that job or are you part of Auburn looking for information on what to pay for the Citation slot?

why do you ask? Does my profile look like I'm in the HR department? :D

Do you think any of their pilots have my profile? ;)

Then if you're from AU realize you are going to have to pay them. I've done heavy time in a Cit V and it is not a fun plane to live with day in and day out with an active schedule. Start at 90 and go up from there, because anything less for that job isn't even close to being worth it. You all had the same ad up a few months ago anyway, what happened there? I'm guessing low pay, high hours and not a top level job...

You honestly think that guy actually works for AU and is asking a message board about what to pay pilots? For some reason I would tend to believe that a state institution wouldnt go about retreiving their salaries from a message board. You think anything less than 90 for that job isnt worth it---- how do you know the job so well to know its not worth it?

I'm guessing FlyAuburn is either a USAirways pilot (perhaps about to be furloughed) or a Jet Blue pilot given the E190 in his profile. Most people low on the seniority totem poles at the majors are formulating Plan B's.

I've heard good and bad about the Ultra - at least it has some glass. Personally, I'd rather fly a CJ3 or one of the newer Encore versions (Encore+ with Pro Line 21 would be nice).
