I gave up on the airline career...moved on to something that actually pays money. I am thanking CAPT for this privilege in life; smashed my dream of a career in aviation.

I'm sorry you got screwed by CAPT, but did anyone try and warn you ahead of time? I remember when CAPT first started and the sentiment on every message board was overwhemingly negative regarding that program. I remember reading more than a few multi page threads about CAPT back in the day and it was pretty much regarded as an expensive shortcut. The most successful cons are always ones that exploit our own greed and selfishness and you got taken by the aviation equivalent of a Nigerian spam email. Anyway not trying to be a d$ck I'm sorry you got duped. At least you can serve as an example of what not to do and educate those that come after you. A lot of the newer guys tend to ignore the wisdom on these boards when people say don't go to Go Jets or don't work at Mesa and some guys think they are smarter and that they know better than those that have BTDT. Okay enough of my soapbox.. rant over.

I think they teach that in Airline Management 101.

Most of us got into aviation because of our love for flying, with that management has taken advantage of that. Its safe to say we have all been duped at one point in our career because of our love of flying.
