I understand that, but XJT is in it's current situation due to gross mismanagement. I don't know what the SKW proposal is(was) and am not saying I agree with their tactics, but do you think the branded flying will survive? Was it a good decision? I know hind sight is 20/20 but do you think these past decisions will result in future furloughs? Do you think CAL cares about XJT flying?

Again, not saying I agree with SKW management tactics. I feel especially sorry for the senior pilots at XJT who have fought for so much over the years only to see their company get driven into the ground. They have a lot to lose. I don't know the answer, however I do think there will be a lot of people hurt whatever the outcome.

What I'm saying is that all those questions you asked are irrelevant to the question at hand to the original poster. I'm not saying that I agree with the comparison because I don't but there could be a good argument made on how each have/could accelerate the "race to the bottom" if the the buyout is successful as the deal stands now.

I think my response was to post #7. (Which, by the way, happens to be the original poster).

Mesa is safe cause I fly there!

It may be bad but it's not that bad. We (the pilots) do OUR job and we do it well and safely. OJ does not call us up and ask us how we feel or what we would do.
People need to act educated and realize this!

Sure we want to go somewhere else. While I am here I do eveything to make our PAX happy and get there in ONE piece.

The most important thing to understand is Michigan sucks in football!

We need a college footbal forum on FI

Yes. It is that bad. Don't listen to the Mesa-bashers on fi . . . but listen to the 1000+ pilots who've left Mesa over the past 2-3 years.

If the "camping trips" are still going on, then Mesa isn't safe, it's a major accident waiting to happen.

Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Especially now, since Mesa is on life support.

Do you have your apps out? Why not?

Question: What's the difference between Mesa and SkyWest?

Answer: About $975,000,00 in market cap.
