anybody know if they are done hiring and if they are how much longer till they hire again. any news about how things are goin on over there?

The last classes are going through now. There are rumors of more hiring in September but who knows. Other rumors are floating around about 4 new planes this year but take that with the preverbal grain of salt...

4 planes this year would require 20-25 upgrades. Highly doubt that.

Whats the latest with the class of 250 hour "wonder Kids" from Embry-Riddle that got hired a few months back? I have heard from some friends who fly over at Spirit that there have been some issues with a few of them asserting their god-given right to be there with all their experience and superior training:laugh:

Spirit has 90 days worth of money, trying to get investors now, but no one siging on. Not public so do not have to show filings....

Hang in there,,

old numbers, that report was for 2007 which ended thrid Q of 2007, its 8 months old.

Cash on had might be $69.00 which is, or will be soon, one of our crappy new add campaign..."Take your honey to the Bahamas and 69 for 69.00 bucks"

I don't think anyone knows for sure, I think everyone is hurting, and most investors would stay far away from giving money to airlines to subsidize passenger tickets. Good luck to those guys and gals.

Ahhh, another high quality ad campaign straight out of NK's infamous "MILF" and "MOASS" boondoggles. However if you listen to Uncle Ben's spin, the media buzz surrounding these embarrassments was worth it in generating new (and cheap) exposure for NK. What a great way to be doing business to be constantly appealing to the lowest common social denominator.
Of course in Uncle Ben's personal life it's the complete opposite: for him it's BMW only, KIA stay far away. Hypocrisy alive and well.
