Paired up with that FlyLow22 guy this week - again. That's good, but I think he has done gone around the bend... 4 airplanes in 4 days - that doesn't happen too often. Spent yesterday wandering around St. Augustine, we had a great lunch and enjoyed the weather and scenery. Flew an easy two legs in the afternoon and wound up here in Greensboro, NC. Late start in the afternoon today so had time to get a good workout in at the Marriott. Sitting standby at the service center goofing off on the message boards and enjoying their massage chair and big screen TV - he just put in "I married an ax murderer." Ahhhh, life at NetJets... wonder what the puzzle place will have for us for tomorrow?

If it makes you feel better, I flew with Flylow almost every single tour last year. You would think they would have learned.

Just start quoting Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and you'll be fine.

Hey Flylow, remember, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one."

Or how about: "Kirk, my old friend, have you ever heard the Klingon proverb that revenge is a dish best served cold? It is very cold in space."

Maybe we can switch it up a bit? Star Wars perhaps?

"Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you."

"No. I am your father." "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"

Let the geekfest begin!

Star Trek, huh? Hmmm, Flylow and I would probably get along famously :)

Khan: I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her: marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet, buried alive. Buried alive.

Kirk: KHAAANNNN!
[echo]
Kirk: KHAAANNNN!

fischman - its Starwars this week...

"What is thy bidding my master?"

You guys really need to be more serious at work... like me! :p

"Kahn. If it's me you want... I'll have myself beamed aboard. SPARE MY CREW!!!!" ~ Kirk

"Genesis? What's that?" ~ Kirk

"Don't insult my intelligence Kirk." ~Kahn-a-lamadingdong

Okay, so without looking it up, can you tell us the code to bring down the shields of the Reliant?

DO NOT compare Star Trek with Star Wars. Star Trekkies are dorks, who had their names written in their underwear at camp.

I sense a great disturbance in The Force...

The reason you guys fly with FlyLow so much is because hes on everybody else's no fly list :)

(Just kiddin' JL)

"West Palm Beach Airport...You will never find a more Retched hive of Scum and Villany..."
"We must be Cautious."

HiSpeed "Obi-Wan" Flyer.

Well, duh! Everyone knows that Reliant, as a Miranda-Class Federation Starship, 16309 was the assigned prefix code.

"It's coming through now Kahn." ~Kirk

Beep (1) , beep (6) , beep (3), beep (0), beep (9), dinkdink....

"The SHIELDS are dropping!!" ~Yorkim

"Well RAISE THEM!! RAISE THEM!" ~Kahn

"Lock phasers on target!" ~Kirk

"The override!?! Where's the override!?!?" ~Kahn

"FIRE!!" ~Kirk

Bodies flying randomly through the air on Reliant

"You did it Sir!" ~Mr. Saavik

"I did NOTHING! ! simply got caught with my pants down. Now let's see how badly we've been hurt." ~Kirk

"GASP!!" ~Uhura (One of her best lines!)

Scotty standing in the turbo lift with the body of his terminally injured nephew. Apparently he made a wrong turn thinking the Bridge was Sick Bay.

Well played. I'd be willing to bet that the correct tones chimed in your brain as you typed. (That is assuming you could prevent it from leaving your lips simultaneously.)

I always think fondly of this scene, especially when certain middle-managers attempt to dilute the authority of the PIC:

KIRK: We tried it once your way, Khan, are you game for a rematch?

---- Static -----

KIRK: Khan . . . I'm laughing at the superior intellect.

Uh, have you seen some of these doorknobs running around in their renaissance-festival-like Jedi outfits since the last three films came out?

I'd say the playing field has nearly leveled.

Good lines, though, fellas....sounds like a good time.

"No Sir! You have genesis, blah blah blah." ~Yorkim

"FULL IMPULSE POWER!!! DAMN YOU!!!" ~Kahn

Heck, any overnight at the hotel in CMH will expose you to any number and type of convention.

A Trekkie convention would be a little more "normal" compared to some of the conventions I've seen going on there over the years.

Takes all types I guess.
