Network, are there any people you know currently flying for Netjets? See if you can contact these individuals and have them write you a letter of recomendation. I know of one person that worked at Aloha who is currently flying at Netjets.

I got the Email a couple of weeks ago that my application was going throught he scoring process. What do they score, I hope I do better on this test than I did in college.

Hate to sound like the village idiot, but am I the only one who used email to send in an application/resume?

I emailed in an app/coverletter the other day and followed it with fedex-ing the paper app as well. I mentioned in my email that I would be mailing the papers too. Got this in return a few hours after the email was sent:

Our employment application is now available online; please go to www.netjets.com click on the careers section, then pilots. The application is in a PDF format so you will need to print then complete. You may then scan and email the application to [email protected] or mail it via US Postal Service to:

etc...

So I wonder what that means. Did they not want an email? This is most likely an automated response to emails saying "hey, dummy, the app is on the website for a reason," but I wanted to do both, as well as get my res. in a few days earlier than mailing.

I did exactly as you did & got the same message back in February. I got the same message when I sent an updated resume a couple weeks ago.

Is NetJets still requireing that silly written math test prior to interviewing?

Talked to a Chief Pilot today and he said they have over 10,000 applications on file now. He also said internal rec.s carry quite a bit of weight, they are taking delivery of an airplane every other week, and they would like to hire about 400 a year for the upcoming years.

A friend of mine who walked in my stuff heard while there that to deal with the 10,000 apps they have shifted to a point system to prioritize them. Its probably similar to FedEx or the like, but anyone know any specifics on this?

They would like to but I doubt it will happen. Look for 220-240 to be added this year. FSI just doesn't really have the capacity for more.

It will get worse before it gets better. Until we get the new campus built in CMH FSI availability will continue to decrease for new hires as we add more recurrents that must go through.

Hired and put into the "system" I can believe 400. I was told 451 in recurrent a couple months ago. Actually hired, trained, and online I would say maybe 300. I could be wrong.

Thanks. I have 2 on the inside. I'm sure I know that former Aloha person. I'll have to make that 3 on the inside. Does that usually guarantee an interview?
