Don't go to a non-union company.

Yeah because having a union really makes the airline successful.

That's right try G7 they're union now. Or how 'bout YV, there's a class union house there. They're West Coast AND hiring! And best of all, even though you'll get sub-par pay massively JRA'd and minimum days off they're ALPA so they're okay right? Or what about XE? They're losing bunches of money and are taking LOA's.

Apparently QOL & company health don't matter...only being union does.

Oh and PCL, since my entire family works for HP my dog is firmly in the ALPA house in the US Airways mess.

By the way, SkyWest IS still hiring....for the Bro, but still interviewing 3 days a week, running EMB classes every month..hiring for the CRJ for a pool...not very deep at the moment but things tend to happen quickly, w..things have not stopped completely.

All I hear when I read the regional forums, and many others sadly on this board anymore is that song "I see your true colors shining through" Just a bunch of internet wienies hiding behind screen names being dicks.... Good job fellas....:erm:

Mtnjam, a year or two ago I'd say try for SkyWest, but I think you missed the boat on this one. Way to many pilots hired in the last couple years, not a lot of expansion nor attrition likely. Stick it out at Pinnacle or find a corporate/135 or fractional job.

The only upgrade on the west coast you could hope for would be for the EMB and we'll be parking a bunch of them within a year. Unless we open a LA base for Delta with the 900s - and I haven't been hearing that rumor for a long time, you'll never hold an RJ captain slot west of Chicago for years. I'd even guess that even in ORD/MKE junior captain will go to 3 years plus in no time.
