It was probably an ATR. And it was nice of them to call the rat a "mouse"..

Rats aren't as good as the pigeons. Last time I went to work and got to the plane a little early, there were 5 pigeons in the cabin before we boarded.

It was marvelous.

I don't think the ATRs go to DSM. But my record for pigeons on an ATR is 6. I like to lure them in with peanuts then sneak out the cargo door close the cabin door. Then someone (usually the FO) gets a big surprise when they open it.

I sure would love to see the fun in the cabin if a family of ASA mice started running around during flight!

I think we also had an ASA rat on an ATR lately in Hilton Head. Scared the heck out of the FA in the middle of her safety brief.

All these critters sure do keep the planes cleaner than our ramp people in ATL however. I think we should get some more.

.....good thing it wasn't a gerbil.....

During my last contract flying the CRJ in Africa, I was doing the walk around and saw something strange in the right main gear. Sure enough it was a crab! I have pics. How do I post them on here?

I can think of worse things to pick up in Africa, than crabs.
