You, sir, are a tool. And I don't even work for DL.I was taught to clear visually before taking off. It's a pretty common technique in the AF. Maybe it used to be at Delta, but it's kinda scary what they're bringing on these days. Maybe it's just par for the course now.

In the end, it's the responsibility of the pilot. Much of the blame sould be shouldered on the crew taking off.
Probably JoeMerchant finally losing it and deciding to take out Delta. "Ramming speed!!!!!"

I have an interview with them in a few weeks. Mabye it will be meDear Delta pilots,
After about a year of having an annoying poster named PoconoPilot screwing with every Continental Airlines thread, I now introduce you to your annoying bitter poster named TankerClown. I think a trend is starting. NWA is hiring, so who is going to get turned down by them and start throwing flames at every NWA thread? Come on, do we have any takers?

Same goes for the AF these days. It's amazing who they let graduate UPT now. I flew with someone who just couldn't land the Herk without nearly punching the mains through the fuselage, and this was in mission qual. She's flying a desk down at Guard Headquarters.
Sound like someone's thinks he has a birth-right to Delta but, A)got turned down or B)can't get an interview.
True, I simply put this A@@ clown on my ignore list. It makes surfing these threads more plesant.Dear Delta pilots,

Now you're sounding like an over-emotional Hillary Clinton. Nobody got hurt, Joe. Everything is ok. Try not to start crying like the Hilldabeast......sorry, but I don't see anything funny about this.
