If I remember right, they have agreements with a bunch of international carriers that comes in handy out of JFK. As far as domestic stuff goes, they don't have any agreements with any of the legacies or other LCC's. They do have agreements with some of the regionals like SkyWest. It was basically impossible for me to get my family anywhere in the States with JetBlue benefits unless I was on JetBlue. That usually meant flying the wrong way across half the country to get to JFK so we could go where we wanted.

We can get passes on Air Tran. They are $50 round trip, anywhere. That's how I get around with the family. How about you start working on Delta?

Just looked at the travel page, and we have agreements with United, US Airways, Southwest, Northwest, Frontier, Airtran, Spirit, Midwest Airlines, Hawaiian, and a bunch of US regional carriers. Numerous International carriers as well.

We have people entirely dedicated to the Pass Bureau for this stuff. Not only do we have agreements with most domestic and international airlines-- we also have many discounts with hotels, cruises, etc associated with the travel industry; ideally, just look at the travel page for leisure travel and many of those discounts are located there and they spell out if there are fees, ID90s, etc.

As does just about every airline out there. How about X plan for buying cars with Ford and GM. We have an entire section on our employee site dedicated to corporate discounts.

Blue Bayou probably got a snow globe a few years back.

Which is funny, because I believe snow globes are technically a 15 year anniversary gift and Blue Bayou only deserved a 3 or 4 year gift at the time.

So what. We give buddy passes to people and then JB charges them a fee to use them.

We also had a three legged foosball table in the crew lounge for most of the two years that I have worked here, that is until a starved 190 FO sold it for firewood.

Then it has changed. When I was there I couldn't get out of Houston on anyone except JetBlue or SkyWest. No agreement with any legacy or LCC that was available. Agreements like this take time so I'm sure you are adding airlines regularly and that is a good thing. I hope Delta gets added to that list someday, but they'll probably be the last to sign up.
