Congrats and welcome to Netjets!!! From what I have heard, you are one of the few that got hired.... For all those who have interviews coming up, I would recommend that you make sure you are well prepared for the interview as if you were being interviewed by a Majors.... The days of getting hired based on your heartbeat I think is over....
I interviewed with you on the 12 and 13th. Congrats..I got the XL on jan 14th. . See you in CMHI interviewed on Dec. 12,13. You must have taken up the last G-200 spot, I got offered the other aircraft and took the Sovereign.
Was a great group of people I interviewed with, very competitive! Not really sure who else got hired, haven't kept in contact with anybody-would be curious to know, though.
Good luck to everybody!!!
Which, of course, tells you volumes about our SENIOR folk...
Right when they call you with the offer they ask what airplane you would like
After you stop jumping up and down, you calmly tell linda the airplane you would like.. I think they expect you to know what your choice is when they call.
after the interview i wrote down a list in order of preference, so if they did call i didn't look like a complete maroon!cheers:beer:
Hey JungleJett,
Congrats! - I'm also from ExpressJet - Dec 11/12 interview, Jan 7th class given 2 choices Encore + or Excel - I took the Excel.
Thanks Guitar Guy - quick question (and I'm sure i'll find out soon anyway ) but if you are on the XL does that also mean you could, or will be flying the XLS also.
Thanks

Hey JungleJett,

I also interviewed DEC 18/19 and was offered the Excel, Sovereign, & Hawker. I chose the Sovereign !!
See you all in CMH on the 14th !!!
Anyone else start on the 14th going into the Sovereign???
Also, for those who fly the Sovereign, how's the type training and any other comments about the fleet??
Thanks to everyone who helped me get my dream job, hopefully that's the last interview I will ever have to do ......
I have also heard great things about the Sovereign. Very powerful - nice performer. It's like an XL on steriods. I think the Sovereign fleet is getting busier because it is a popular aircraft among owners and it is very versatile. You will do transcons on the Sovereign as well but not as many as the Citation X.
The Hawker 800XP-C (Collins equipped) would have also been a great choice if you were offered that type specifically - nice Pro Line 21 system up front and not the busiest fleet out there either.. I hear that Captain bid for that aircraft type went senior - that should tell you something about how pilots perceive that fleet.
