Who will be laughing when CAL management keeps random line bidding, low first year pay, no health insurance, retires its fleet of -300/500's, bumps those 23 month captains to the street during the furlough and flies your fatigued old butts into the ground while you all sit around slamming some idiot not realizing how bad CAL really is?

CAL sucks! Always has, always will!

CAL is scab central and will never rise to the challenge of being able to produce an industry leading contract.

Which airline do you work for that has it so well?

Is FEDEX hiring yet?

Ya know, it's thinking like this that allows a bad contract to pass. You and the pathetic scabs must enjoy having lunch together. Here's how it works in the real unionists' world. Establish a common goal that benefits the entire pilot group. Then, individual pilots decide whether they have the cojones or not. When it comes time to strike, STRIKE. Make sure you are accumulating some savings for a future strike. That way you will be voting for what you are worth, not what your current bank balance says you can afford. I'm new to CAL but I will make this an airline to be proud of and that can support my family. Our union is in shambles because of the individual pilots, not 1 individual as an MEC chairman. With 25% of the voting pilots hired since 2004, we have a rare opportunity to force our idea of a contract on the rest of the group (read 53% CASH pay raise, 1 for 2 duty rig, 1 for 3.5 trip rig, 1.5x pay for all open time, trip touching for vacation, pay for CBT work outside of the schoolhouse, no training on days off, pre-constructed lines...I'm sure there are others but those are the ones off the top of my head.) Without an industry leading contract in this atmosphere of profitability, I am voting no. The guys just trying to keep their job to retirement are now the minority. We as junior pilots have the power to HELP the senior pilots retire more comfortably with a GREAT CONTRACT.

No I have had to put up with losers like you who will work for less than regional conditions at a major.

You must be very proud to work with all those CAL scabs but then again your probably bleeding most of the month. The smell of blood. I bet you like scabs.

Did you find the training difficult? I bet it was breeze doing it for the second or third time!

You know the search tool is really a neat function on this site. If you pay attention carefully, you can really get a glimpse into a particular flightinfo tool's issues. Like yourself is a great excercise here.

For example, it is interesting because you slipped in a couple of posts about talking about working for XJET. This is the airline mind you that hires 500 & 50 wonders, most likely like yourself, that think they are gods gift to aviation. I know you. You are the guy wearing sunglasses holding hands with your boyfriend in the terminal, wearing your backpack, IPOD and any other things that make up for your impotency trying to look cool. When in reality, seasoned and professional aviators are saying..."Look at that d0cuhebag".

It is also interesting that you say : "I have had to work with losers".... Well if you are "working" with them, you are one yourself and accepted those same conditions prior to your employment to begin with.

Moving on, I ve noticed a distinct diatribe towards Continental from you starting in the April time frame.
I think it would be safe to assume that is when Continental turned you down flat cold. Gives me faith we are weeding out the trash like you and Pocono.

The scab thing. Interesting because my other guess was you worked for United and were ex XJT. I hate to burst your bubble, but United has quite a few scabs on their list as well. Further, I noticed you a very angry at ALPA. So am I, but the thing I have come to learn with these scabs, and I don't agree with their actions, but they all mostly had one thing in common. They hated ALPA. Interesting to note, many of the complaints I hear about ALPA from scabs is just what you are whining about.

Which brings us to the bleeding thing. I know that whole issue is foreign as your comment imply's a hatred towards women. Must be because you aren't interested in women sexually. But I didn't design the body and fortunately, the lord gave me a nice rack to compensate for it. Again, I am quite sure even the breasts do nothing for you as your obvious preference and choice would tend to be men, or perhaps young boys. So, yes I do bleed once a month, can't do anything about it, it is the way it is. It is the way it has to be to continue the human race. If you have a better idea, let the big guy know about it next time. I mean, you are an expert on everything right?

You however bleed continuously from your ass due to your sexual preferences. Which is not what god intended and has been known to cause aids.

Finally, I pass all checkrides the first time and every time. I'll bet you are pissed off at that as well.

I'm glad you chimed in. Pocono was getting boring.

Wasn't going to bother, but just to show your ignorance

It's not random line bidding. It's preferential bidding system. Two different animals

Low first year pay is an industry wide problem, not just at CAL. What did you make your first year at XJET? But I will not vote for any contract that leaves our junior pilots behind.

"No" health insurance is an incorrect statement. It is for 6 months and is a travesty. To say "No" health insurance shows your continued ignorance.

The 300/500's. Only 15 - 20 735's are leaving, all being replaced with 738's and 739's. Plus additional 777's on the way and rumor has it we are exercising all our options on the 787's. The rest of the 733's and 735's will be staying until 2010 and then there will be a gradual phase out.

In the short term, there is still a net increase of 13 airframes next year alone, as we retire older less efficient high maintenance aircraft. To whine abut that shows your , I'll say it again, ignorance.

23 month Captains. Oh my, you sound like you a dripping with jealousy, but even the most dense tool knows that Captains if there was a furlough would not go to the street. They would be bumped back into the right seat. You really are ignorant.

Fatigued? No doubt we have many displeased with pbs, but it works for me and I am getting fairly good lines with it. Show me an airline today that has no fatigued pilots and I'll show you a liar.

CAL sucks? Maybe, depends on perspective. Especially from the perspective of somebody like you that obviously was rejected.

Industry leading contract? You mean like United, Delta, NWA, USAir are working under presently?

Sorry toolboy, it is a new age here at CAL, new blood, great pilots and I am very hopeful of our future. Glad you will not be a part of it.

But do tell us oh ignorant one. What perfect airline do you work for? Given your attitude, I will say it again. You are lucky to have a job. I think you slipped when you thought of the name for yourself.

I don't agree with you and I'm not going to flame you.

Answer one question. You claim that our junior Captains will be furloughed because of age 65. I'm at that seniority which means I have close to 25% of the list junior to me. Explain your math. Why do you believe that over 1000 pilots will be furloughed at CAL. We are planning a 4% expansion in 2008. Expansion means growth.

Back up your claim if you can or is it just uncontrolled emotion.

Only one thing can be said.

LOL
Whats that OUCH? thats the noise you make when the horse bends your fat A$$ over and gets you from behind. If you would remember to put the saddle on your back before this exercise it would stop the horse from biting you. Pig.

Love the new avatar.

Thanks!! I thought about putting superwoman back but decided i needed something new.

As far as this thread goes, Please excuse the Moronic post by supposed XJT pilots they are the minority and really make everyone look bad. Just ignore their crap. Good luck guys/gals.

Pocono makes the entire female population look bad.

ATTN DELTA/NORTHWEST/UNITED.....

Please turn some more people down so threads about your airlines can be turned upside down by a few bomb throwers. Every single thread about CAL for about a year now has been ruined by the same few people who say the same things every time. It is getting rediculous.

Actually, the "ignore list" is a good way to solve that problem. For those of you who seriously want to read something about CAL without the rants of Pocono, just add him to your ignore list. Unfortunately, other people fielding Pocono will only cloud up the thread even more.

Just as a side note...someone at CAL told me that they personally knew Pocono. That it was a guy from FedEx who was a former XJT Captain, and that he was doing the whole just for fun to shake things up. Seems he has succeeded because so many people get so pissed off. If you read his posts (like I used to), it becomes obvious that he is someone trying to impersonate a girl and just flame throw.

So just add to the ignore list, and no one talk about him! Then there can be some threads about CAL that you can read minus alot of this stuff. If, on the other hand, you are so curious that you just HAVE to read what Pocono writes, do us a favor and just don't respond to it. Send him a PM or something. I'm done.

I agree to the Ignore part, however with a little research of Poconos posts i find the fedex part hard to believe.

This post was Oct 2004

Just saw a USA Today story about 2 pilots from my area
http://www.usatoday.com/money/jobcenter/2004-10-21-career-side_x.htm

Is the industry that bad that guys are starting their own businesses and getting out of aviation? I still have hours to build and am looking forward to flying the regional airlines someday soon. Wonder if pilots will continue to move out of aviation?

Anybody know these guys?

The next post isnt till 2007

With all the retirements, CAL could be the most secure major out there. Also, there is a good chance that CAL will be the highest paid eventually with a new contract.

I hope to be there soon.

So if in 2004 he/she was looking at getting into the regionals then the chances of Pocopuke being at Fedex is slim.

Poco is nothing more than a joke and is giong on to my ignore list and i dont even work at CAL.

UPS, actually.

It was amusing for a while. Now, not as much.
