not sure about the 60xrs. A lot of people predict the 60 fleet to continue shrinking. As far as the 300 is concerned, they can't get them fast enough. People are waiting in line. I do know we are taking the bulk of our deliveries through the rest of this year.

The new Learjet NXT is on the horizon. It will be interesting to see whether or not we (Flexjet) will continue to fly the 60s once this new airplane is on line. The NXT is in a class of it's own and it's capabilities are between the Learjet 60XR and Challenger 300. I've heard we are the launch customer.

Commuting and must riding are two different things. Both have to sit in airports with people. Both have to watch the herd that is the American public and throw up in your mouth once in awhile because of it. Getting paid to have to endure it is a better deal though.
Do you want to do a 4 day trip in a row or a 7 day trip in a row?
Do you want to fly to and from about 60 cities or the possibilities of thousands?
Do you want to make about 30 grand or so more top out pay?
Do you want to sit behind a locked cockpit door and not care who is on the other side or do you want to do a lot of face time?
Do you want to spent a lot of time in FBOs or spend most of your day flying and be done?
Do you want to fly nice new biz jets or nice new Boeings? ( I think that is a wash either way)
Do you want to fly around obnoxious, rude trash that is the American public or do you want to fly around obnoxious, rude trash that is the American upper class?
Do you want to load bags?
Do you want to live the constant uneasiness of the airline industry or the more stability of fracs?
Do you want to wear a hat with your uniform?
Do you want to wear a black leather jacket and look ok or wear a brown leather jacket with a blue uniform and look like a total a$$ clown?
Learjets and Challengers are nice planes, but Netjets is a better company.
NJ is opening about 100 gateway cities with their new contract, Denver is probably on there.

"do you want to do a lot of face time"-yep, that says it all.

...and one of your questions is valid. Please let us know which one.

Are you referring to me or just having an argument with yourself? Kid? I am in my 40's. Minivan? I never owned one. I dont have kids. I was in the first Gulf fiasco. I saw the light and the truth and I wanted no part of the roadshow or the sequel. Support the troops? Yes Indeed, bring them home! That is support. If you would like I can show you all the different ways I was taught how to harm a human being.

Anyone wearing any color of leather jacket in uniform looks like an ass hat.

...it depends on if the leather's gone Mach 2 or not...Mach 1 at 50' counts also, .78 at FL 310 might be overuse of the hide...

You could solve the commuting problem and the desire to have the scenery change.

World Airways and a few others have home basing and at WOA the scenery will change. Just a thought and WOA is hiring for the DC-10 and the MD-11 right now.

World does live up to their name. One of my bestest buds from the military flies for World. He loves it, gets a little tired sometimes. His kids are grown. I'm kinda envious, cuz this guy could find an Irish bar in ANY city, in ANY country...well, we think those Irish dudes in Riyhad-they liked soccer. Anyway, you're right, World is a great place to see the...need I say it...the G-Man can't be wrong!

I do love the job myself. I am realistic in that I call it my job and not my vacation as it has it problems but overall it beats working for living. I have tried that and it sucks. The GlobalBeerTour can be an interesting ride but its not for everyone.

Good fer You Bro...hope ya had a good Thanksgiving...it's Turkey, no matter what country...and watch out for G-Man, he's a big ole gruff guy...but a Teddy Bear in real life...and a damn good pilot...probably like you...Cheers!

Thank You for the sentiment. I will look out for the G-Man but I can't think who that may be. I can get along with most anyone usually. And I did have a good Thanksgiving and it was at home which is all the better. Now I guess its time to add Merry Christmas to you and yours now that one more Turkey day is in the books.......

The Air Force guys wear a blue uniform with a brown leather jacket. So you think they look like "ass clowns"?

what does Air Force have to do with it. It is just an ugly look. It does not reflect on the kind of person but just how they look. Free country remember? Opinions are limitless.

Your ramblings make so little sense. Do you drool a lot as well? Are you even originally from this country? Your grammar and spelling is terrible. I would not work for any politician ever. I think we should dismantle the entire government and start all over again. You should go play in traffic because you will get hurt a lot less than tangling with me.

You need to get back to breastfeeding off your mommy, rookie. You're nothing more than a chew toy.

Hmm....A$$ clown....thats funny. I just read you comments and would like to invite you to express your opinion in person to any one of us. I myself will be in the C concourse tomorrow if you would like to say it to my face. Or ....as I can assume .....you are just a big F'N Pu$$...I'm guessing you are a flight attendant. Don't forget to ask the Captain how many creams and sugars he likes in his coffee.

wow, someone had his lunch money stolen once too many times as a kid.

tell me, are you picking out your own clothes yet, or does your mother still decide for you?

that was meant for gay side of the pillow.
Copy. Careful with him, he's kind of timid in real life, and some might say a very below average pilot. I think I saw you guys down by C-6 today...:bawling::smash:

what does Air Force have to do with it.

Like I said, the USAF pilots wear a blue uniform with a brown leather jacket. It's been around for years. Naval aviators wear brown shoes with their uniform.
I personally like the look, but that is just my opinion and I don't believe I look like an "ass clown"
