Cant seem to find any info on their website regarding this? Anyone know?
You would have to put up with a LOT of bullsh#t just for the opportunity to make an average salary...An airplane is an airplane and I think the thrill of flying in the right seat will wear off quickly if everyone thinks you are a second class pilot at best and an insulting presence at worst......
But if you go for it good luck!!
The majority of pilots at Emirates are western expats. That means they will treat female pilots as equals...
I have seen several female pilots here. I personally know two of them. Both Europeans and very experienced.
For what it's worth, I heard a female voice on center yesterday for Air Arabia also.
Yes Emirates does hire female pilots. In fact I was in the same interview with the first one who was hired. But more so than for males, preference will be given to married females due to local labour laws.Cant seem to find any info on their website regarding this? Anyone know?
Kind of off topic but what is the atmosphere between pilots and FAs at Emirates and other airlines in the region. Are there strict separation rules on layovers, I know some Asian carriers have this.
