No seat lock releases. The hiring is into the jet at the moment. Too expensive to release the seat lock and retrain for the jet and also train for the bro. Don't worry though, the year will go by fast.

I didn't say they are ONLY hiring into the jet, just that they are hiring into the jet so they don't need to release the seat lock. The 120s are not going anywhere too fast so no need to release the seat lock this time. Plus flying the EMB will be good for them

Well, I sat reserve for a grand total of approximately 3 hours and I had a line that started the next day right out of training, so that may tell us something. I haven't really done much with Sched- because I want all the trips I have (for $$ and flight time) and I with commuting don't really have time to pick up open time--to be honest I've only logged on to it one time.

If you are seat locked on the E120, are you pay protected if someone junior to you (new hire) is hired into the jet? Is your pay locked also along with the seat lock?

While a manufacturer has not yet been selected for these aircraft ; we expect an announcement before the next edition of Headlines is produced. We anticipate the first delivery will be in February 2008, when SkyWest will acquire two UAX RJ aircraft SkyWest will then receive additional aircraft through March of 2010. All 22 aircraft will be operated by SkyWest.

I never said anything about upgrade. I guess I'll go into more detail for you so I don't seem callous to you. If a new hire is in the EMB then they are seat locked for one year. If someone is hired into the CRJ during that year it does not hurt the EMB guy because they are both getting paid the same. There have not been and I do not see in the future, any problems with seat locked EMB new hires getting the first CRJ class after their seat lock.
