Looking for info on Sun Country

I'm looking for some information about Sun Country from people that work there. How the hiring process work. How do you like working for them. Does it take an act of God to get an interview? My old lady is from up north and were looking to get up there pretty soon. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just jumpseated with them MSP-SAN last week. That crew was just doing a turn for the day. credits nearly 8 hours. The Cappy was telling me that this is pretty typical. lots of high time day trips and a few layovers.

He was getting about 20 days off this month and says in the winter when they have to work "hard" they get about 15-16 days off.


Sounds pretty sweet if you are a MSP guy or want to move to base. might be tough to commute with all the day trips.

He doesn't have it yet. He is still flying around in a 727. I don't know when he is getting the 318, probably sooner than later.

Under the I'll believe it when I actually see it category.....there are A LOT of rumors flying around in the ATL about Airtran and Sun Country.

Rumors were flying around MSP about a month or so ago too, but nothing lately, it's been very quiet.
