My PNS draggin wagon is on it's 3rd year. 6 months of being abused by the rampies on the Beech, and the rest by me on the ERJ. I have nothing but good stuff to say about it. I'm always amazed by asking guys how long they have had theirs when I see a really beat up one and find out it is like 6+ years old. I mean really, how long should one expect their bag to last givin the abuse we (and the rampers, van drivers, etc) put them through?? I'm also on my first set of wheels and they have never gotten the dreaded "squeaks" that so many other bags I have heard in the terminal had.

buh buh but its so EXPENSIVE!

737 bag, 2 years, still solid as a tank and worth every penny...especially if you commute.

While the heavy weight (and cost) can be a drag, the PNS/Luggageworks bags sure are tanks- have never regretted them. (I added a 26"er to my collection when I went to the fracs.) Little stuff breaks over time- like zippers etc from ramp rash- but the frame and handle last forever. Just try and remember to send them in for free refurbishment while the guarantee is still in effect.

Apart from their strength, I don't think anything comes remotely close to LW/PNS bags as a rock solid stable platform for towing a heavy flight case around on long walks through terminals.

I bought a Costco 22" rollaboard and it lasted 2 1/2 weeks before the wheels started screetching and have almost fallen off. So incase anyone is considering saving some cash and going with Costco - don't.

Anyone tried Strong Bags product? I'm wondering how it compares to the Purdy Neat stuff.

Greetings..I have the "strong Bags" and it seems to be holding up just fine, plus it was cheaper than the PNT. Hope this helps.

I have the Costco bag and my wheels have never screeched. They usually hold up 2-3 years before I take them in for a free exchange. You must have got a defective one.

I have the one from StrongBags. I am so pleased with it. It is extremely sturdy and holds quite a bit of stuff. It also has a slot for your laptop that will fit the bigger computers. I went with it vs. the Purdy Neat because they are similar yet it was $100.00 cheaper. Flightcrew members ask about it all the time since they haven't seen it yet. They all seem to be impressed with its features and cost. Give it a try. They are having specials on them as a combo with a duffle bag.

I've got a Purdy Neat from way before the PNS/LW deal.

The thing is old school metal, with user replaceable wheels (standard rollerblade wheels) you can change out with an allen wrench. The only thing I bothered with upgrading was when the one piece metal handle came out, which could be done with a screwdriver.

Finally after 8 years the zipper stopped zipping and I sent it in for "overhaul". They replaced all the zippers, wheels, axles and handle AND straightened the frame (I was like ???, was it that bent?) for $90 including shipping. Good as new and ready for another 8 years.

The only bummer was I had to use my wife's rollerbag while the Purdy Neat was in the shop. Her POS generic bag didn't even make it an entire trip before it blew out and the wheels fell off.

The thing is a tank. Heck, I'd put a motor in it and enter it in BattleBots if that show was still around.

I bought a Samsonite at Ross for $30 about 2 years ago, and it's still holding strong. For the wheels, I lubricate the bearings with a spray every once in a while so they don't deteriorate or SSppkkkeeeaaakkk... through the terminal...I wouldn't hear them anyway with the Ipod! Plus I always have a spare of wheels in my red backpack!
