I've read all of the gouges I can find but I really cant find much information on the mesaba written test. Can anyone here shed some light?
I understand it is 25 questions. Is it pass/fail? or how does the grading go?
Any information would be very appreciated!
What these guys are getting at is:
The Mesaba written test is very straight forward. It will not try to trick you. There is nothing esoteric on it. It is more like the instrument rating test than the ATP test. Know your bedrock pt. 91 FAR's and your "should know" AIM material. Know how to read Jepp plates. That's it. It is NOT like the PCL or Compass written tests. There are no BS questions on it. Just typical stuff where if you have your ratings, you really should already know it.
And take the DC-9 sim out of your profile.
Oh yes sir I'll hop right on that sir.
Go eff yourself.

If you need gouge, you're not ready for the job.
I flew a 727 sim once
I crashed a Hawker sim once :-(
I disagree!
I'm now flying for the regional, but when I was in going through the interview process, I needed the gouge just like this chap.
Needing help with testing info has nothing to do with someone’s ability to learn and flight skills.
If you're so terribly misinformed and have nothing to give but sarcasm, I suggest you don't post anything at all!

Testing has no relation to flight skills? If you can't explain when to leave DH or what speed limits are or when you time out from duty, then if that doesn't affect flight skills I don't know what does.
