Besides "find the porn"... this game is about as fun as you can make it given the materials you have at your will.
Materials required:
1 USA Today
1 captain or FO who is literate and social
1 pen (preferably stolen from your hotel the night before)
You flip to that page with "News from all 50 states" and you each pick a state and read (aloud works best) each little story. The one with the "worse" news gets a point. Repeat ad nauseum until you've finished all the stories.
It may not sound too fun, but some of those stories are borderline ridiculous, and it'll kill an hour and a half or so on one of those ridiculously boring legs.
Anyone got any other stupid stuff they do to kill time? Save your Ipod and book rhetoric for elsewhere.
I bet it's similar to Wheel Of Fortune on tv where everybody always choose R S T L N E for their letters.
In this case, the safe bets are Kentucky (sorry Bolier Up), West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and California.
You can try the belching/farting-identify-the-smell game... "guess what I ate today."
We like to play "level six" in dispatch. We see who can route planes with the least amount of fuel through the worst weather then place bets on who will get the first call.
The second game is called "hang up". That's when you call concerned about weather and we claim we can't hear you on your cell phone and hope you don't call back OR put all of the lines on busy so you can't get back through.
Now that's good times.

Six degrees of Kevin Bacon is fun.
