Altitude golf? we had a captain here who did that and it drove me up the wall. screw that, find the porn! if there isn't any, do your duty and put it up there. Deferal stickers are provided to make sure they stay up there.

Ive played the golf game before, but with the Vspeed selector in the ERJ. Its a bit safer than using the altitude selector.

Besides "find the porn"... this game is about as fun as you can make it given the materials you have at your will.

Materials required:
1 USA Today
1 captain or FO who is literate and social
1 pen (preferably stolen from your hotel the night before)

You flip to that page with "News from all 50 states" and you each pick a state and read (aloud works best) each little story. The one with the "worse" news gets a point. Repeat ad nauseum until you've finished all the stories.

It may not sound too fun, but some of those stories are borderline ridiculous, and it'll kill an hour and a half or so on one of those ridiculously boring legs.

Anyone got any other stupid stuff they do to kill time? Save your Ipod and book rhetoric for elsewhere.

You must be an XJT dispatcher. Bad weather, 500 lbs contingency fuel, no alternate. Good weather, 1500 lbs contingency fuel, EFD alternate. Doesnt make any sense. Also giving us 2 minutes of extra fuel(yes I have seen it), WTF is that.
