Does SWA have any confirmed aircraft coming after '08. Also does the 19 planes coming next year equal 190 more pilots or is the plane to pilot ratio higher? Thanks.
It is like 10.5 Pilots per plane but the number depends on if it is for growth or replacement planes. There are some planes scheduled for retirement and some for growth. At the end of 2008 SWA will have 539 planes currently they have 508. So that means 31 planes for growth in the next 15 months. It works out to 325 pilots with over 400 people in the pool after Sept DB. People who get selected at the Sept DB should start next year this time with interviews starting next summer.
Interesting theory...but why would SWA want anything to do with ATL?
