Anyone start getting calls from NWA yet? I have 2 internal recs and they haven't called me yet, but as i understand, they are starting with the highest time guys and working their way down.....Anyone have any info?

Yeah. After watching the decidely better half have her career sent down the toilet by a bunch of morons in Minneapolis: RUN THE OTHER WAY. As fast as your legs will carry you. :uzi: There are plenty of other carriers out there looking for people if you have the qualifications.

ok- wow- pilots really are highly trained.....i am simply asking the question. I don't need to hear the horror stories, i've been through the ringer myself. Just looking for an answer. And by the way.....aside from SWA, FEDEX, and UPS....why would anyone want to go back.....

Calls went out yesterday to schedule interviews for next week... If they haven't called yet, continue waiting.

That I do not know for sure - I believe it is sent fairly fast after your application is received, so that a good recommendation will help them select people for interview call.

Your internal recs only move you to the top of the guys who have the same raw score. (TT, PIC, etc)

I tried updating my full application, and then the initial one, to reflect the NWA guy recommending me. I couldn't update either one, so my rec. does not show up-still trying to figure out what to do.

Hi!

I just updated (sort of) my initial app.

The initial one is the one where you create a log in, give contact info, and paste your resume. There was a space, originally, to include a NWA employee as a reference.

When I got back into my initial app, there is now NO FIELDS to add-in my two NWA employee "sponsors".

So, I pasted the sponsor info into the same field where I updated my resume.

I was NOT able to get into the long application that was mass emailed out.

One of my sponsors says he doesn't think the update I did will get seen by NWA, so he is trying to email the HR dept. for me, but he doesn't really know how to do it or if it will work for me.
