I've been burned by the big announcement before so I don't think I'll hold my breath either.

On a different note. I have been here four months and I am holding 70% in LAS.

We will never buy Airtran. Let it go. Cultures don't align enough. Alaska would be a better fit for us anyway if I had to guess.

What about Westjet? I would think that would be messy buying a foregin carrier, but who knows. I heard SWA would like to buy someone with international status. I don't think Alaska would be that good of a fit. I hear that pilot group is very unhappy.
