lol. the only good thing that skywest guys have going for them (flying 90 seat jets for 50 seat rates) is that they aren't the biggest idiots out there. the geniuses at Skybus are flying 140 seat jets for 50 seat rates. so it's all relative, a skywest -900 driver probably thinks he's a baller to be makin the $ he does on a little jet compared to the underpaid boys on Skybus.

Just think, though. There are kids out there flying E90 KingAirs making more than lot's of 50 seat RJ drivers.

I wish we made the same money flying a 50 seat jet that Skybus does. First few years anyway.

it did, people are 1.either jealous, or 2.work at asa

It did because Skywest bought ASA and we indirectly caused the raise that had been promised for months or years previous. . . Had SKW not bought ASA, there would still be 1 rate.

Oh, I have an idea...you should make SkyW people pay union dues to ASA. Isn't that the argument for why dues are compulsory, that the individual benefits from the union group, even if an individual doesn't want to join? Such BS.

We fly a 90 seat jet? Really? Our 900's only have 76 seats, and we now have an override for the 700/900. I admit, it's not a lot, but it's a step in the right direction. And for the record, I did vote that last pay package down.

Did your vote really count? Did any of them??

Why not? Once a whore always a whore! They should fit in nicely.

I love it when you guys say stuff like this. And I always ask... (and never recieve an answer) ... What incredible regional airline do YOU fly for, Mr McNugent? Please tell me so I can save myself from being a whore and go to your airline!!! I want to be a real airline pilot like you!! PLEASE! Help save me from the horrible Skywest!!!

He flies for ASA which is the worst performing piece of crap airline out there. . . but at least we are standing up for our profession and fighting for a decent contract. At least we have that.
