What kind of briefcase is recomended for an airline interview to carry logbooks and paperwork in? Got a friend going to one and can't remember what I took.

An old college backpack will work just fine. Looks good strapped over the shoulder of the interview suit. Saw an XJer sporting that look at last weeks interviews. :puke:

As a regional pilot in the "portfolio", I used a Walmart bag... doubled.

Briefcase... Like they give a crap. If you have a heart beat and can speak informal English he will get the job!

Come on man.... Leave the case at home.

If he is worried about how to carry his log books, he is not in the right frame of mind for a flying job. Its what is in the books that matters not what the books are in.

backpack, spiked hair, i pod,i love jesus lanyard, and make sure you send at least 4 text messages on your handheld commodore 64 phone during the interview....and oh yeah...tape your package to your leg, never let them see that youre not a sissy

Sweet, I get to give the first serious response!:)

Don't bring a briefcase, you'll look stupid if you do (you don't need to being that much stuff).

I just brought a 1" black 3-ring binder with the paperwork in the inside pocket and then carried my big logbook on top of it.

A lightweight portfolio just large enough to keep your paperwork and logbook organized is fine. The key is to look organized and not fumble around looking for things. The key is to be as composed as this man. http://www.jibjab.com/view/130041
