Then what was so great about your 747 job?
I thought Tower was a pax airline? You don't know what you are talking about obviously.

That is pure genius. I know nothing about SWA? How do you know that? By what you write on these pages. I seem to know where you go (I have friends unlikely who have given me their rotations, and I listed them with each leg), and I also continually say that you have great pay, nice stews, and good management for nowno, what you continually state is that we fly 7 legs a day to LBB abd MAF. I just would not want to fly for you No one cares that you don't fly for us = stop bringin it up on ever single freaking SWA thread - it is past old because I don't like the multiple legs (yes, you fly multiple legs, don't try to get out of it) with 25 minute turns (yes, most of your trips have that), in the same type plane forever. ANd I don'r want to fly for people who steal my pension - should I go on every Delta thread and bring this up[? Did I lie there? No I didn't. no, you lie when you imply that we all work 7 legs to MAF You can't handle the truth, I like the truth just fine - it is you I have a problem with and you get personal. Really? Do I get under your skin? I hope so, because I am sick of you spouting off about an Airline and lifestyle you know next to nothing about , I just state actual facts what is an "actual" fact - is that what you call your tripe about LBB and MAF - the way you imply we go there on every overnight? and give my own opinion, which is never relevant to to topics like "SWA Won't Share Its Pain With Workers"which you and other Southwest pilots do not like. So sorry........

What a load of BS. Admit it, you are bitter about how lousy your carrier has treated you. What other explanation can there be for coming on EVERY SINGLE SWA thread and sharing your vast knowlege of our schedules and overnights.
Dude you do not have one single useful insignt about SWA. You come here abd polute flightinfo with just about LBB and MAF and seven leg days. None of which is relevant to the majority of SWA flying. Yor state over and over again how you don't want to work here - GREAT! You add nothing to the discussion and dillute the content that is worthwhile on this site. I will do the same to your Delta threads (as time allows).
PS other than a joke about your name I don't think I've ever gotten personal. I could, but I don't think you could take it.
General Lee, Heavy Set.........same person, figured it out awhile ago.

Cargo whench is kind of cute. You can call me that Genital.....I don't mind.![]()
It's very simple. At Delta:
-fly different types
-international destinations
-usually fewer legs per day
-management hates you (you're a liability)
-low pay, benefits, qol
-history of furloughs
-bankruptcy
At Swa:
-fly one type (less training, btw)
-domestic only (changing in 08')
-possible 6-7 legs per day (maybe about 2% of the time)
-management values you. you are considered an asset.
-excellent pay and benefits
-no furloughs
-no bankruptcy
which you you pick?
And you and SWA/FO are the same
Does anyone really believe the legacies are out of the woods? A quick trip through CH 11 and good as new? Riiiiight.
"And I love the part when you say "I pollute FI"----huh? I deliver the TRUTH. People need to know what they could have at your company, and then make an informed decision. We all say the pay is great and the stews are fun, but then we add that there are multiple leg days that will continue forever, with quick turns that may exhaust people eventually. You will also only fly one type (unless you can show me a new order), and that can get boring. You also may hit LBB, MAF, and AMA, which is the truth----it changes from base to base (my buddy who is MDW based just went to LBB for the first time last month and got sick on a quesadilla from the hotel restaurant, and the management didn't care he said). 5 or 6 legs a day can be exhausting, and there is less of that at a legacy. People need to know the pros and cons, and they have already been laid out for legacies, and now I will do it for SW. If you want to refute any of the above that I have stated, go ahead."
Bye Bye--General Lee
I have been with SWA for over a year and a half and have never even flown into LBB AMA or MAF. General doesn't know what the f... he's talkin' about.
I got food poisioning in ATL more often than any other city in the world.
So, who are flying the 15 daily flights into each city? Somebody is, and they are hating it. I do know what I am talking about. Refute that. Who are flying the 40 or 45 flights a day into all 3 of those cities? I'm waiting.......your regional affiliate? Would you like me to list each flight from each city for you?

I would imagine the vast majority of new hires at DAL will be on the MD or the 73
- How much international do those guys ever do?
- When will a new hire ever see those CAPT pay rates?
) If I were looking at an airline to try to interview at, I would look at bases, pay, types of aircraft so I don't get bored, and options of different types of flying (so again, I don't get bored).
Bye Bye--General Lee
I'll fly those trips every day for what SWA pays (not to mention the enjoyment of working for a great company that values employees). When I want to go intl with my wife, I'll just use my 16-17 days off a month and all that coin I'm making to buy a ticket on my airline of choice.
Great advice. Don't bother dealing with balance sheets, debt, financial health or management. Did you live through the same post 9-11 airline world that I did?
Yeah, yeah, I know, you don't care where you fly, blah blah blah... You would care if you were at Delta--there is great variety and you might actually smile as you approach the gate when you see your destination. As far as your pay, it is great, thanks to our old pay rate. Without it, you would have not even come close, and that really is a fact. We will try to climb back up there too, and we hope you keep the rates that we helped you establish. Don't forget that.
