It frightens me that you don't understand that crashing the most airplanes is not a good thing. And that by picking JetBlue as an airline that never crashes is, in fact, a compliment regardless of what silly nicknames they may use to refer to them. If you spend a little time in the NY area, you will realize that those little nicknames and such are how friends commonly refer to one another.
As for Letterman's Top 10 lists, well, I don't think I've even smiled at one of those since the early 90's. If you watch closely you'll probably notice that even Dave is bored with them, but they've become an institution and he can't get rid of them.
