Management needs a body check after giving 3/4 of the entire 2006 profit in management bonuses. $174 of the $231M in bonus deserves harsh consequences.

Just a bunch of people not in the business voicing opinions based only on what they read in the papers. It's even difficult for someone outside of APA to understand the nuances of this union's politics.

No one knows for sure how things will go under Hill (who operates under the direction of the BOD) so it's useless to theorize. Much of what he said in the campaign is rhetoric. IMO. TC

<<"I probably worry a little less about the company because I'm sure they can take care of themselves," he said.>>

This comment is on equal basis to UAL's Rick Dubinsky "choke the golden goose" comment of the late 90's.

Tejas, how about commenting on whether or not giving away 3/4 of an entire years proof in management bonus is right or wrong?

A message board for frequent fliers???????????????

Yep. Megadeth managed to get herself locked out in less than 24 hours on a recent thread over there. Actually, she asked to be locked out so that she wouldn't have to read any of the idiocy any longer!

Props to Megadeath! :D TC

Truth is the pax don't care about anything except price and if they're going to get there on time. I'm convinced they'd get on a broken down POS flown by drunk if the price was right. After all, the FAA is there to make sure things are "right."

I think you nailed it.
