As of now, most junior in ATL is a Jan 22 2007, hire. It will probably get more junior as time goes on.
 
How do they determine what plane you go to class on? ATL is a CRJ base and it is where I would want.
If you have prior jet, turboprop, or part 121, you will most likely go to the CRJ. There are some CFIs that go directly to the jet, but not many. If you get the RJ, all you have to do is put in your bid during ground school. You would probably be able to hold it a month or two out of IOE (a guess). If you get the Bro, just bid transition to the CRJ for ATL. I think you could be seatlocked in the Bro for your first 12 months though.
