had interview with pdt have over 3000 hrs 230 multi. passed written, passed sim did interview with jay keen had resume walked in and was told how bad people were needed an was still told no thanks. i know current and past captains there and they could not believe.

They did you a favor.

Any failed checkrides? Any questionable reasons for leaving other jobs? Washout of other training programs? Could be all sorts of stuff...

I must be JK didn't think he could intimidate you enough. Don't let it get to you man, you are smarter than they.

Dude, why the frown? There are a bunch of guys here at FSI who saw it as a sinking ship, I guess alot of senior folks were leaving too. Everyone here seems to be ex pdt. Heard there were some good guys out that way and heard the dash is a great bird, but who knows what is going to happen there. You shouldn't have a problem getting more interviews!

Chalk it up to interview experience and move on, if they didn't want you then forget about them, it wasn't meant to be. Maybe you were nervous and you came off as not being yourself, maybe you looked at JK wrong and he got a bad vibe, who knows. There are lots of jobs to be had right now, get your stuff out and look at this as a chance to reflect and prepare for your next one. Definitely don't dwell on it, and relax and be yourself. Good luck.

Don't sweat it. You probably reek of overqualified. They think (know?) you'll jump to a better job quickly. Everybody blows one or two. In fact I got turned down by MESA in 1998, when they'd hire anyone who could say "airplane" in semi-English. Then ACA hired me just weeks later, and they were a TOUGH nut to crack.
