Street Captains....

Just a question for discussion:

Does anyone think that RJ operators will begin to hire street captains? How long before this starts up? Let's not consider Pinnacle for now. There are details that muddy that water a bit, in the true sense of 'street captains'.

Just curious to get some opinions. Attrition and subterranean FO hiring mins are going to have to catch up sooner or later...aren't they?

Let me ask you a question, with the regionals having to lower mins just to be able to hire people, where are they going to find a new hire with enough hours to be a street captain?

Cargo, corporate, charter.....I believe that there are guys that would take that step. But quit asking me questions! I'm the one asking the questions around here........

If you were one of those 100 year FO's at Eagle and had the chance to slide into a DEC slot with a substantial pay raise and get some PIC time, what would you do?

Not only Eagle, but there's a pile of Comair FOs that have plenty of time to get the street captain stamp at another carrier. Heck, there are 90 of us PO'd right now since they cancelled our vacancy bid just as we began training for it!!

Isn't BlowJet the only RJ outfit that was taking on street CA's lately?

Thanks, you guys too, been sucking hind tittie for a while over there. Probably some PDT guys, maybe some PSA guys, Mesaba, and ASA as well.
