Don't you just love the way BL and management try to spin us not getting any 900s because of the pilots? FU Brian! Cut you damn 350K salary, and bonuses, and maybe Delta will give you your 900s then. And Brian's always so quick to post about negoiations so that he can scare pennekamp and Joey merchant, and all you other putzs out there. ASA will survive, and do fine.

Where did he post that? I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious.

That's why I never read anything that putz puts out. He always has to throw in a little zinger, shifting blame.

Here's what he said:

This is a good point to segue into the next topic: Delta’s announcement yesterday that
Comair will trade
in 14 CRJ100s for 14 CRJ900s configured with first- and coach-class cabins.
Because of you, we are on an upswing here at ASA. Of course, we would have like to have been
awarded, new CRJ900 flying from Delta, but we are heading in the right direction operationally to position
ourselves as a better partner for future flying. We will make adjustments and find our feet when Delta
takes over our Atlanta operation on June 1 and start a new chapter in our history that includes improving
performance further and becoming more cost effective companywide.
As always, thank you for what you do every day for ASA and for each other

Does ASA have a pay scale for the CRJ-900s. I didn't see it on Airline Pilot Central. Do they expect you to fly it for CRJ-700 wages?

Go ahead...Blame Us! We did not take a pay freeze or extend our contract for growth. As far as I am concerned...they can have the 900's, atleast we have our INTEGRITY for NOT bowing to our JackAZZ mgmnt, or following the "proverbial" carrot. Once you fall for it....you will ALWAYS GO FOR IT!!!:smash:

Don't fall for this nonsense, people. No pilot group ever gained flying and no pilot group ever lost it. This is management's game and their fault alone.

Well Brian keeps putting out these type of memos to rile up the rank and file, i.e. rampers etc. But pretty soon all he's going to be talking to is the people who are fighting for a contract. Good luck!

Hell, if I was a ramper I wouldn't want to see 900s in my zone anyway. Just more bags to throw on and off the plane.:)

So where's the part where he blames pilots? Or even mentions pilots? You people who say you never read this stuff because it's all lies really need to understand that there are two sides to every story, and the all-holy ALPA side isn't always true either.

I highlighted in red where Bryan said it was the pilot's fault.:erm:

"ALPA’s proposed scope demands are too onerous and restrictive on SkyWest, Inc.’s ability to conduct
business. They also illustrate ALPA’s understanding that if ASA agrees to the current pay rate proposals,
ASA will not be cost effective, will not win new flying and will likely shrink – all jeopardizing not only pilots’
jobs, but jobs across ASA."

Suck my donkey cock......................... is all I have to say about that.

Posts like these are what is giving ASA pilots a bad name. I am just as mad as the next guy at mgmnt and ALPA for the way things have progressed over the last 4+ years. Nowhere in his newsletter does he even imply the pilot corp had anything to do with ASA not being awarded the CR9. If you are going to whine then at least do it about something he ACTUALLY did or at least had control over.

Oh really now! You need to learn to read between the lines. Why even bother mentioning it, and very quickly on mgt's part, then? Because BL is trying to scare ASA pilots into believing there will be no growth or bigger planes for ASA. All smoke, just like when they tried to scare us by transferring 700s to SKYW. Cost them a bunch of $$$$ to do that, and they stopped after 3-4 planes.

ASARJ, there are no lines to read between. He simply said that CMR is going to swap out a set number of 100s for 900s. No smoke and mirrors there, simply making a statement that the AP had already made hours earlier. So calm down fly the current contract and hope the CNC can get us a new contract some time in the next decade.

Another "pilot" not getting it? If you can't see the lines that he is talking about....then you are already lost! Every pilot I talked to who "WASTED" their time reading that POS's note...felt the same way. It was a big Scrw You pilots! All other employee's...it is the fault of the pilots that we are getting no growth. He can Eat SH!T for all I care! He is nothing other than a LYING...STEALING...NO GOOD....B@tt L!cking Sack O CRAP!@!!!!:angryfire

a LYING...STEALING...NO GOOD....B@tt L!cking Sack O CRAP!@!!!!:angryfire
Maybe he and PBRStreetgang could get together and share techniques on the Knuckle Shuffle and Tossing Salad.

Lost ... Not in the least. If you don't like what the man has to say then don't read it and don't listen to it. It seems that it wouldn't matter what he says and you would find a way to call it propoganda to find a new reason to call him an a**. I simply don't see any reason to raise my blood pressure for that.

In the two paragraphs prior he talks about his disappointment with the pilot negotiations and the possible results from the mediator. Then he specifically says that's a good point to segue into OH's order of -900s. Looks like a pretty good link to me. However, it's just the psychological part of negotiations. The pilots don't buy it and no one else understands it anyway. It's meant to quietly sway opinion without making accusations. Like the ship's log entry from the first mate that says the "caption showed up sober this morning." He's never had a drink, but now there's a shadow of doubt because of an entry that really didn't say anything incrimminating. It's empty rhetoric meant to distract us from the facts. This thread is proof that it works, and we shouldn't let it.

We are all dissappointed that the last few sessions have not resulted in a new contract and the union stated what the next possibilities are already so I skimmed through what BL said in his update. As for the 900s, those were always slated for CVG in DLs continuing reorganization plan.

Again, nothing new was stated.

Its alittle late late in the game to try and sway public opinion ...

If BL wouldn't have let the ramp become the clusterf$%$# that it is maybe ASA would have gotten that flying. But since he pissed Delta off so bad they had to take away as much control as they could and then give away flying.

Bryan's memos don't scare me. What scares me are chest thumping automaton nazis like you who blindly march in lockstep toward unemployment because Alpa taught you to "read between the lines".

Oh, and btw, I couldn't care less if we see one -900 here or not. I want to see our current flying protected first. Us getting-900s is so far on the horizon, we are better off concentrating on what we've got first, don't you think Mike?

How typical for Alpa chest thumpers to be worring what MIGHT happen someday over what IS happening now. After all, that's good for whipping up the pilots and further raising their expectations.

Pure propaganda.

Well Wil, you could just insert your name in the above post you made, and it would be your brand of chest thumping now wouldn't it? C'mon, you and JB think you have all the answers and everyone should buy your brand of propaganda right?

So when all is in line with your view Pennekamp is your best friend- then when things start shaking up and he develops his own idea of what is going on you pawn him off as a JB sympathizer? Get a life and look around at what's going on for yourself- I can't believe you think we are going to be alright with all that we are asking for. If ignorance is bliss, you have to be the happiest person on this board. Get over yourself.
