I bet it is T-Bags.

You may have been joking, but it looks like you are probably right . . . T-Bags had no posts from 2004-2007 and now he's back on this board, running his "man-pleaser" once again.

I guess my wish that he have a major fall from grace and end up being bufu'd in a federal prison came true . . . . doubt he fought it much.

Yes, he's still on the seniority list. He would've been furloughed for a bit, though. I don't know if he's on bypass.

I wasn't going to go there in regards to his prison stint. Yes, he is out as of a few weeks ago. http://www.kansascity.com/105/story/95801.html Is it possible to accept recall as a convicted felon?

I for one hope he gets his life back in order. Why all the animosity towards him? He made a mistake, and paid for it greatly. (Honest question, I really don't know)

I agree. He's not even close to that jacka$$ Duke Cunningham. Duke did a number on Naval Aviation history.

If he's still got his ATP, then he should be able to accept recall. You'd have to find out if the FAA yanked his license in response to his conviction.

Sounds like he had a really, really stupid temporary lapse of judgment for which he has paid an extremely high price. As Bavarian Chef said, Taff isn't even in the same league as Duke Cunningham.
I, for one, hope that Taff is able to piece his life back together again. I'd have no problem flying with him at United.

Personally, I've made plenty of stupid mistakes in my life. I'm fortunate enough that none of them have resulted in a felony conviction ... not that my mistakes rise to that level.

If he had actually been elected to Congress and THEN they found out about the "creative financing" of his new house, he would have been given a committee chairmanship......

After all, they found $90,000 in cash in the refrigerator of a sitting Congressman with videotape of him taking a bribe and he's STILL in office. What a country.

Dude, Congressman Jefferson wasn't that stupid......He had it in his freezer.

This has all the makings of a really bad after-school made-for-TV special.
