Just heard it today. Yeah, I've heard the rumor on and off since late 2001.
But, apparently when you call MX Control now, one of the things the
recording asks is whether your departure/destination is KSEA?!

Discuss...
 
The rumor was started way back, when Northwest and Skywest almost reached a deal for RJ flying out of Seattle. Northwest apparently gave it up, it is said, because they didn't think they could compete with Alaska and Horizon.

Old news, give it up!

the way things are going i would doubt the crj1340
in fact i heard that bombardier is engineering a double decker crj to feed the 380

Ahem! It's the MRJ-1400... and yes there are a lot of yellow stickers in the
cockpit. :)

The mx cntrler that handles the SEA flights also handles PDX, SFO, and LAX. I wouldn't read too much into it.
 
Dispatch has been running numbers on the 900 for SEA to points north. I guess DL wants to give ALK a kick when they are down!
