How long will regionals continue to hire at these low mins? Is this something that will last through '07? I plan an having about 350TT-400TT by the end of this year and want to take advantage of the hiring boom.

Plan on the current trend to continue barring any September 11th type incidents. If anything, it's going to get worse.

Hey Now!!!!

Hiring boom will continue until September of 2010, it will only get stronger in the next couple years. Apply everywhere, take the first job avaialble, continue shopping for a better job, leave when you find it. No lateral moves.

I think it's going to continue for a while. I think that the RJ's are going to be doing all domestic flying in the future (for better or for worse), with the exception of SWA...and if the RJ's do get big enough, they might be the one thing that could give SWA the biggest scare. The majors will be hub-to-hub and international almost exclusively.

All of this is complete and total speculation, of course...my .02.
