I suspect there are only a few that really "hate" flying. Pilots, in general, tend to whine a lot, but that kind of comes with the territory. We are stuck, for hours, with someone we probably don't know and have to find something to talk about, or go insane. The one thing we are guaranteed to have in common with our colleague is "the company". It's not very interesting conversation to talk about everything you like about the company ("scheduling is so nice, they gave me a three hour call-out this morning, it was quite relaxing"), so we tend to whine about what we don't like ("those 'so-and-so's' expect me to wake up at 4:00 am!"). The impression is that there are a lot of guys who don't like their job. I catch myself being very negative from time to time and try to step back and look at the big picture or just change the subject.

Well, in general, it seems to me that women want life to be a fairy tale. Women, in general, do not want things like logic, reason, and clarity. Instead, they seek things like emotions, 'suppport', and 'sisterhood'. Note, none of these things that women seek help to propogate or advance the human species.

Women are, in general, only good for one thing.

I don't really think we whine a lot. To me, it's kind of a thing where conversations start easier when you both talk about the same thing. And it's more fun to say you hate your pay, rules, plane, etc than to come off as Mr. Happy Smile. You know...nothing puts me in a good mood like being in a bad mood.
And besides, it won't start a fight like talking about politics with a liberal....talk about whining!

Yeah right! You play guitar to get women. You can't pull the wool over my eyes. I play to get women too, but I suck, so it doesn't work. I still keep the guitar around so I can say I play well. When they ask me to play I say it's out of tune and has to go to the shop before it can be played again.:laugh:

because they think that they are the most underpaid abused bunch, when really they dont know the meaning of haaaaard labor work, and nooooo pay! What about getting up at 4 in the morning and working for hours under the hot sun, or coooold rainy day and at the end of the day make 100 pesos (10 dollars) and get home and only have enough money for some tortillas, refried beans and scrambled eggs (same thing you ate all week). North Americans really dont know what it is to have it bad. We're all a bunch of spoiled, bit*ing, SUV driving, fast food eating idiots. We complain about our jobs, that yeah although it has alot of responsabilty it couldnt get any easier, especially airline (you show up and close the door). Anyone that flies for an airline, ANY airline and complains about how bad he has it, needs to get his teeth punched out, and then forced to get a hard labor job for minimum wage. We really dont know how good we have it compared to other people in our country and other countries.
