Mesaba Fleet?

How many aircraft and type does Mesaba currently have. I saw on one website that they had 1crj and 49 saabs. Is that correct?

first CRJ-900 set to arrive in May.... from there it's anybody's guess what we will look like

They were. Mesaba used to have something like 70 Saabs.

RHI and CWA bases... long gone... About 200 mid seniority pilots, numerous union officials, and a few Chief Pilots, 14 Saabs, 35 Avros, 1 (soon to be 2) CRJ-200's, and CVG as a crew and maintenance base all gone in this last round of beatings.

Plus 226 Furloughs, of which 60 might come back.

But hey we got Spludge Spanjers and Fecies Foley... You cant beat that sh't, their the best in the biz. I feel sorry for all the new hires there are so many other places that are better. But hey its the regionals right, we get paid to bitch. This place sucks but I will say that the only reason I have to come back other then the bankruptcy claim is the people that work there. Hands down mesaba was the best group of guys and gals Ive ever flown with.

Oh yeah, and I cant get the Kids Meal at Lennys in the MEM terminal without a uniform on I found out. Thats the other reason.

Having to go to MEM should be reason enough to stay away for most... I'm just banking on being able to bid out of that place before I am done with training just like when I was hired... unfortunately there isn't a chance at CVG anymore, so DTW it will be...
