Loooking for the good, bad, & ugly for paint and interior shops. Please post any good shops that you have had experience with in the jet world. Thanks.

We have used both Gulfstream(ATW) and Duncan (BTL) and have been very pleased with both facilities. IMO, Gulfstream delivered a nicer paint job.

Jim Miller does good paint work - call Javier.

Don't EVER take an airplane to legends in AIK, unless you want it screwed up.

For Interior work, call Dan Furlong at the Mx group at PDK - he owns a top-rate interior shop -770.454.9210.

Is Dan with Advanced Aircraft Refinishers?

It's also nice to find a shop that's in a state with no state taxes. Large aircraft P&I will top a million bucks. You'll save a bunch if you don't have to fly too far. You can usually negotiate a free trip fuel to get you home....
