In short, because in the past when we met with the company outside of the mediator we got screwed. During informal discussions the topic of "would you give us this if we gave up that" came up, and both the union and the company identified areas where movement could be made. A later date was assigned where the lawyers would draw up the paperwork and it would be made official. When that date came, the company pretended that the conversation never happened and refused to give us what they promised a few days earlier.

It's just one of the "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" events that take place at this property that strain the relationship between ALPA and the company.

enlighten me....what was lost when this allegedly occured? a little time for the CNC? don't fret, they got paid...anyway, if I remember the whole scenario correctly (as told to me directly by a CNC member), they came back with the things that were offered but had tied them all to PBS....not exactly pretended it never happened.

OH CHEESE, I can't believe how you can multi task while under BL's desk! Just because you like doing NOTHING, except what helps ONLY YOU! Guys like you continue to help this Crappy company all the while they are robbing you blind. I know, you can't see it, but that's okay.
