Anyone thats been through ATP's training at CRG or the Rich ride remember the lyrics to the plastic jesus song?

All I can remember is....

He won't slip and he won't slide cuz his ass is magnetized
Sittin on the dashboard of my airplane...

I don't care if it rains or freezes as long as I have my plastic jesus

Isn't that a variation of the song from Cool Hand Luke?

Rich...that guy is a character. he still doing steep turns only using rudder and trim??

i remember ernie...i did my training in RAL and did a cross country to CRG. i heard horrow stories about him...
 
Ohhh ernie, is he still kickin it in CRG? He was classic! Rich had a few screws loose but was fun to work for. Ahh good ole days!
 
Anybody get to do the Mekong Delta ride in Rich's helo? Scared the 5hit out of me. The whole time he was flying he was staring at me laughing. I think he only looked outside the aircraft twice during the whole flight.
 
Anyone got any clue how the melody goes? I gotta learn to play this song.

Rent "Cool Hand Luke". He sings the whole thing after learning that his mother died. He does the original version as I learned it in USAF pilot training at Hondo, TX in 1952. It is older than that though, I'm sure.

When I took the half hour Mekong Delta tour he was constantly looking outside. Went up Jax Beach and he pretended to shoot the sunbathers. "Ka ka ka ka ka!". What a great time!
