I was parking my Subaru in the employee parking lot the other day. As I was getting out and putting on my tie I noticed a TSA employee getting out of her almost new mercedes convertible. Is it just me or does that just about say it all.

Just a guess, but you probably bought your car, whereas the TSA person probably leased the mercedes.

Maybe her husband is a pilot and makes lots of....nah..nevermind...besides, why would she be working at all?

If you live at home with your parents you can afford many things! Moving out was the first really bad financial decision I ever made!

Trustfund?

Just because someone has money, they needn't apologize for it. Are affluent folks prohibited from having a flying career and a nice car?

In snow I'll take a Subaru over a shiny Mercedes. Anytime.

Just because someone drives a nice car does not mean they are affluent by any means. If you got to look closer what you probably saw was a person way over their head in debt...

What model of Suabru?

Hood Rich-

"I can't pay my rent, cause all my money's spent..."

"Gotta quarter tank of gas... In my new E-Class... But that's alright, cause I'm gon' ride..."

" Got everythang - in my momma name
But I'm Hood Rich - dadah-dadah da-dah da-dah da-dah..."

Yeah....well......what can I say. My observation obviously didn't include many details, just thought it was kinda ironic. My subaru is a WRX, best car I have ever owned.

I hear you, I have an STI.

I think 'Hood Rich' pretty much sums up, perfectly.

I've seen at least 2 of those "nice cars" owned by one of the Thousands Standing Around being repo'd out of the employee lot. And I didn't even try to stop laughing at the guy...for weeks.

TSA sucks.

She is probably one of the "poor" who live in the Section 8 housing around my wife's Title I school. Lots of Mercedes dropping kids off at that school.

All a matter of priorities.

Walter,
That urban dictionary is great! Thank you.

Just watch out the next time your dispatcher says the fog in (insert foggy airport here) is like "Duck Soup". He/She is likely trying to get you to say something along the lines of "Yeah, it does look alot like duck soup". I'll let you do the research.

We're a warped group of people.

Wouldn't be nearly as bad as "duck sauce." Although I've got to say one of my favorites so far is "febulights."
Again, thank you, I've been laughing all night.
