I'd bet it is like most others, which is you have 1000 hours/year total commercial flying, and they expect that all 1000 hours be available to them. I can't find it in the FOM, but that's my guess...

Not so

I have asked many line pilots and the anwser I keep getting is that you can provided you get the permission of your chief pilot. Also you can not have it interfere with any Continental ops. Ie, you scheduling calls you for a 4 day and you turn it down because of a side trip that would make you illegal for it. That would be a sure way to get yourself into trouble.

I work for IBC Airways out of MIA

Duuude, I digz dat IBC! Dat friggin Root Beeer izz da fizzle in mah jizzle!!!!!

AWWW YEEAAAHHHH

Duuude, it like jus sux dat yoo be thinkin bouts flyin on da side..... Friggin probashun like ssssuuuuuxxxxx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing in Continental's FOM that state that you cannot have another job. It just cannot affect the performance or interfere with the company and 121 policies.

You just have to be carefull about 30/7 and other regulation flying for both. When I did this flying for another 121 carrier I used the most restrictive. Which is 121 regs compared to 135.

Also I would just ask the CP to make it official.
