Just put in my app and...

Is the branded ExpressJet one of those GoJet deals? It doesn't appear that way but with all the love GoJet gets on theses boards I want to make sure.

Will they be using the same pilot group for the CAL flying as they do for the branded flying?

How long to hold IAH on reserve? A line?

I'm not terribly familiar with the per diem process. Please explain.

Nothing like GOJETS. We will be selling our own tickets for our own airline. GOJETS is a group of pilots who took jobs away from another pilot group.

It depends how this bid goes but most people take a couple months to bid down to Houston. But there will be a couple new bases including one we already know Ontario CA.

The branded flying will be flown by the same pilot group. Who you fly for will be determined by where you are based.

Per Diem is a set amount of money paid for every hour you are away from your base. I think ours is $1.60 an hour. It is not taxed if your trip is overnight. I start at noon on the first day and end at noon on the 4th day I will get 72hoursX$1.60 or $115. I get about $500 a month in non-taxable per diem.

Branded and CoEx are going to be one pilot group. However, if you are doing branded flying you will not do CoEx flying. Not sure if you can pick up CoEx flying on days off, but I doubt many people who dont live in houston pick up trips on days off anyway.

True, but if you live in IAH and are based in, say...ONT, then you can still pick up IAH open time on your days off.

As of now, the word is no. All CAL benefits remain in place.
