My opinion is why to due you insist on talking about company info on this board.
some starting points would be
1. buy my super expensive uniforms for me
They pay for half of our initial order, which is more than most companies. Plus 20 a month for dry cleaning. The other points I am in total agreement with you, but the uniform situation is fine. Its not worth negotiating for. I would rather have min. day, increase in per diem, a huge FO pay raise, etc....but uniforms, please.
I don't want a union if I keep getting free stuff. The sticker is awesome they said we could stick in anywhere except each other or the plane. I can't wait to daydream about all the possibilities.
Who paid for half your uniform? and dry cleaning?

I can name several other regionals where the company pays for their uniforms-sorry your not that special
I am a little irritated and insulted by this campaign to win over the employees. We work under some really difficult conditions and in severe financial strain. If management wants us to be happy and supportive of their plan to add millions to their personal portfolios they need to use tactics that respect our intelligence. They need to make substantive efforts to improve our quality of life.

2. provide crew meals when our schedules don't allow us to eat, or allow us to take a delay so we can eat.
3. pay a livable wage that respects us as professionals that are valued and
not looked at as "disposable" and "a cost burden"
4. Match our 401k.
etc, etc, etc
We are not kids. If you want to be "simply the best" act like the industry leaders in how they treat their employees. think Southwest, Jet blue etc.
He was talking about our uniform package at 9E.
as bad as your contract is, it is much better than ours.
You can vote with your feet by walking out the door and never coming back!
If you want better treatment at US Regionals, you need to stop working for them. Why, did you expect to be treated like a professional when you know they would not pay you well when you signed up for the job? Go fly freight it pays better, and you can put some hair on your gonads. Starting pay at USA JET is $2850 a month guarantee!
USA JET is looking for FO's

the thread is about the campaign to make us think they really treasure us. we know the score and so do they. i wish they would stop treating us like idiots as if we don't know what we are to them.
we are here for flight hours and to build our resume. we knew what we were getting into.
i am just suggesting that if they really want to build morale and keep more pilots from walking out the door substantive changes that improve our quality of life work, not ten cent trinkets.
You can quit and make more money flying freight. Give management a big FU, because they sure as hell don't care about you or any of the other pilots. You got to play the game, not let the game play you.
Bottom line is management does not give a F--k, because they know you are replaceable!
replaceable to the tune of 30k for training
first change at colgan as i heard today:
Mechanics will no longer be able to work Any overtime. If they do, they won't be paid. Got up to IAD this am and there were 2 saabs that spent the night because the MX guys wouldn't work on them. We had a total of 4 down this am for a while at IAD alone. Friggin awesome
