I don't know if this will apply to the rest of you but I was just cruzin the web and decided to stopby the old mymesaba site and try to get in for the hll of it. Low and behold I was able to get in. I have been lockout since my furlough in Feb06. You may already know this, but I didn't. Threre is a preffernce bid sheet there for furloughs also. Enjoy.

so do we need to fax that form in again with the CR9 choices or can we use the electronic form like before furlough?

Fax isn't necessary. Just the electronic one and it will email you a receipt with your selections & confirmation.

I couldn't get the online thing to order them properly, so I just faxed mine in. Also, the online thing doesn't include the "Furlough" position. I want that in there, because I won't come back to MEM or DTW.

There are two separate forms. You need to fill out the "Furlough Preference Bid Form."

Hope we see you guys and gals soon!

Just logged on and saw the form.....Do we need to fill it out or not? I was under the impression that if we didn't we would get a notice anytime there is a vacancy. Does anyone know?

Welcome Back TAWS

Just got word from a "reliable source": Recall letters will be mailed out to ALL remaining furloughed pilots tomorrow (Feb 1st.)

Wait a minute - Spongebob Jinglepants still there? I don't want nothin' to do with it - especially if Steenland has more control now than ever. We do remember how bad it was only a few short months ago.........RIGHT! I noticed there are people on the Master Senority list with a '92 hire date that elected to take Furlough over staying in that mess. I only let people slap me in the face on one side. This is my postion. Do what's best for you and yours!
Remember the Union Fight song: I got mine, who cares about you!

And while were on it, what happened to "Not one cent"?

New vacancy notice will be posted by the end of the day on Thursday. Don't know how many though.

what are the new hourly wage for FO's and perdium?

It's the same for ALL aircraft :(

$ 22.81
$ 27.35
$ 30.03
$ 32.71
$ 33.69
$ 34.69
$ 35.73
$ 36.80

Compare those to Mesa. You'll see Mesaba FO's will be flying the CRJ900 for less than Mesa pays CRJ200 FOs! Not across the board, but for numerous seniority years.

Now compare that to Horizon's CRJ700 FO rates. They make up to $14 MORE PER HOUR than Mesaba.

It's too bad the yes-men never bothered (cared) to look at this when they voted.

GNX,

Where does this venom come from? Can't we be friends? Seriously. If you're a Mesaba pilot, I fully hope you'll return your portion of the ALPA claim. Afterall, you didn't vote for it anyway. If you're not a Mesaba pilot, please mind your own business. If you were a Mesaba pilot, but left, you're not a Mesaba pilot. Please see the prior statement above.

Sincerely,

MM

The only proplem with that is that you have to be the senior people to get it. Horizon's pay is based on seniority not by aircraft. What that meas is if it takes 100 people to staff the CRJ, only the top 100 people get the CRJ pay even if they are flying the Q200. That was the way it was when I interviewed there in FEb06. IF I am wrong maybe a QX guy will correct me. I am pretty sure I am right though, I got my info from the Assistant CP.

I was. I just hate to see pay below Mesa. It didn't need to happen, and it makes me sad. It's really only these dumb combined rates I have a big probelm with. If you're a Saab FO, it's really not too bad.

I took a paycut going to QX

the FO rate at XJ is a blended rate, so you could also say that they make more than industry average for the Saab...
