Lets do the math.......Allegiant- $41 hr and $1 an hour perdiem...ouch
Upgade.......get a type/PIC time and hopefully more than $41 an hour

The MD is a cool looking aircraft but in your close upgrade situation, something better should be right on the horizon......41 bucks for the MD---sad sad world we live in. Oh yeah, and 24 bucks a day!

Well don't send your application there. Here is a news flash for you. Not all of us are chasing the money. If you are apply to ABX. Don’t apply to Allegiant. It still cracks me up when someone like you chimes in and blurts out their opinion of what all other pilots should think just because it is what you think. Living at home if you live where Allegiant has bases is huge to some people because they don’t want to commute. Folks that want to see their families every night. Good reason to apply. You on the other hand; just don't apply to Allegiant if that is not what will bring happiness to your life. I on the other hand am counting the hours. When I hit 2900 I am going to go earn my ATP and when I hit 3000 myself and my family hope and pray that Allegiant will see the qualities in me that the want to see in a good first officer candidate. If that makes you mad then hit the ignore button for my name and don’t read any more of my posts.

So please tell us Mr. Puppethead, how did the Allegiant guys miss that HUGE opportunity you've got your hands on at Lakes? You are a captain there? WOW! How is your job search going? How much do they pay at Lakes and why would you want to go to Republic? Better pay? PLEASE LEAD US TO THE LIGHT!

What are the west coast bases? I know LAS is one, but is Laughlin one? If your on reserve what is your callout time? I'm pretty sure you guys are CASS....right? I'm tired of commuting and have been kickin around the idea of throwing in an ap.

Wait Vapor, using Muppet"s criteria of judging a "pilot's worth or respect" strictly by pay/hr and equipment type:

At Great Lakes CA's are paid $41/hr... after 7 years.

Thats on the Bra, but not the 1900. CA on the 1900 tops out at $35/hr... after 9 years. See link below:

http://airlinepilotcentral.com/airlines/regional/great_lakes.html

Nice find on the other thread, there's sweet karmic justice seeing a loudmouth get smacked in the face and choking on their own words.

Next time, maybe he will think twice, at the least, once.

Ok guys...Message boards are usually not my cup of tea just because of all the bashing going on.

chperplt, bra, desert1, crxpilot...I respect your opinions and inputs. Anyway I can talk to you personally without the "non-advisors" out there.

Not trying to defend GLA at all, but those rates and perdiem are still the old contract numbers. Don't believe everything on airlinepilotcentral!

Why don't you let airlinepilotcentral know so it can be updated? I there is a link now right on each airlines' page.
